Get the Gringo

Heading towards the Mexican border, a clown-disguised getaway driver and his wounded partner attempt to evade the American Police with a loot of over $2 million hidden in their car's trunk. Desperate to breach the thick border fence, the driver crashes the car and his partner dies. He is then arrested by Mexican Police officers who also want the money. As the only American inmate in the El Pueblito Mexican prison, which is more like a small village for criminals, the driver takes on the nickname The Gringo and experiences the harsh reality of being an outsider in the prison controlled by Javi, a brutal crime lord.

In order to survive, The Gringo forms an alliance with a 10-year-old boy who possesses unique survival skills in this dangerous environment. However, he soon discovers that everyone in the prison is aware of the $2 million. With an order for his execution and limited time, The Gringo faces the challenge of saving himself, the boy's family, retrieving the money, and escaping from El Pueblito forever.
